Promotional Techniques - Examples of acceptable ways to promote our Holiday Cards:

  • Using the text link we will provide, with instructions via email when you sign up.
    (We have found that promotional text links work much better than banners these days.)
  • Letters of recommendation to newsletters subscribers or your client base.
  • Advertisements in which you endorse our products, service, timely delivery, etc.
  • HOWEVER, if you use SPAM (in any way, shape, or form, including email and newsgroup spamming), or offer our cards on any WAREZ, CRACK, or SPAM oriented site, your account will be immediately terminated! Any referral fees not paid up the point of termination will not be paid to you and will be property of Design Crafters.

Associate Web Site Approval Criteria

We will not accept sites which:

  • Promote Violence
  • Are Sexually explicit or adult oriented
  • Promote Illegal, or borderline-illegal activities
  • Violate copyrights
  • Or web sites that we just don't want to be associated with.
  • We approve most applications, so please don't worry about this process unless you fall into these categories.

The Terms of this Agreement

  • The term of this agreement begins at the time you're accepted as an Associate, and continues as long as both parties agree.
  • Either party may terminate this agreement, for any reason and in their sole discretion, upon written notice of termination delivered via mail or e-mail.
  • Upon termination of this agreement, the former Associate must remove all Associate links and graphics from its web site, and refrain from publishing same in any manner whatsoever.
  • We cannot be held liable, for any reason, due to failures or outages of our web site, or of the Internet in general. (This is extremely rare, but just in case)

Money

The following terms and conditions were added to allow us to better maintain a quality Associates Program:

  • Our Referral Payment to you is 10% of the total cost of the order before taxes and shipping costs are added in. (This includes not only the cost of the cards, but also any additional printing/custom charges!)
  • You understand and agree that you are acting as an independent contractor and as such will be responsible for your own taxes and any other tax liabilities that affect the sales of our product in your state.
  • An e-mail notification will be sent to you automatically whenever a purchase is made.
  • We will not make a referral payment for any transaction for which payment has not been fully received, or for any transaction that has been rejected for any reason.
  • All commissions earned by an Associate will be paid monthly, on the first of each month, providing it has been at least 30 days since the sale. (This will give us time to make sure that there are not returns or charge backs on any orders.)
  • We are never responsible for paying any interest to the Associate for accrued but not yet delivered Referral Payments.
  • If the transaction incurs a chargeback, or if the online transaction is not completed in every way, no Referral Payment is due to the Associate. If one has already been paid, then it will be deducted from an active Associates accrued Referral Payments; otherwise it will become due immediately from the Associate (or former Associate).
